I have no words again today. I thought once I awaken this morning it would have all been a bad dreams, but it's not.

RIP Farrah Faucett and the world's greatest pop icon of all time, Michael Jackson. I'm truly saddened by this news and in shock. My prayers go out to the families. Such a tragic loss.

When I saw these shoes I fell in love. They remind me of candy, jewels, even Dorothy's "There's No Place Like Home" shoes. They are definetly my style and shoes I will envy. SATURDAY BRIDE:Angela Gonzales

This was a special wedding for me because I met Angela Gonzales and her family in October 2005. This was like two months after Katrina. I would drive back in forth back then to work on my clients. I would be on the road sometimes for 8-10 hrs depending on where I was coming from. Anyway, I had a bond with Angela, Brandon the groom and Angela sister Aurora the first night we met. So when Angela called me and said she was getting married I was excited. Angela booked me like a year in advance. I think I was the first vendor she booked for her wedding cuz she knew how crazy my schedule can be.

I was also excited to work with Angela and Aurora because I love that they allowed me to do my type of makeup on them. Plus, they love glam makeup so I knew this was going to be a great bridal makeup application. She selected the Ritz Carlton for the makeup location and her wedding took place at Southen Oaks Plantation in New Orleans East.

This music video from Supafly Inc- Moving Too Fast tells a little of how I am feeling right now. I am today resting, because yesterday my body started shutting down. Chest pains like crazy...I am all over the place, writing tons of articles, trying to finish up these casting calls, working assignments all over, scheduling 2 more photo shoots, getting body ready for Essence Music Festival and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami, have my tour coming up, and working on "MAKEUP & MARTINIS".

New Jersey Housewives Finale

So the moment I had been waiting for since last Tuesday has finally come. The Finale just aired and boy was it a doozey. From the wtf moments to the lmao moments, I will say these girls were indeed the best out of all the housewives' shows and the finale proved it.

Okay so where do I begin. The first half hour was a lil boring. Jacqueline gave her daughter the car they had been hiding for six weeks, Theresa showed Dina her new house, Caroline introduced us to her attack dog, and Psycho aka Danielle tells her children of the book and ask them to trust her above all others. Yawn!! Caroline's attack dog was the highlight of that half hour. Too funny! How Mafioso is that; like do you really need an attack dog in the suburbs. Hilarious!!

Next half hour, drama, drama, drama. Loved it! Theresa invites everyone including Danielle to dinner. Big mistake. Like did she really think they were going to play nice. The look on everyone's faces when Danielle walked into the room was priceless. All you heard was crickets and from that moment you knew the sh*t was going to hit the fan. Danielle being the drama queen and psycho that she is pulls out "the book" and puts it on the table. WTF!!!! Was that really necessary. It wasn't the time or the place for that bs. If she felt so compelled to talk about the drama surrounding that damn book could she have done it without their kids being there. Who does that sh*t?? Crazy! Danielle has all these balls while she is continuing to go off on her Dina Dina Dina tirade, but when Caroline aka Boss Lady intervenes she suddenly simmers down. How great was it when Boss Lady told Danielle, "When you talk look at me bc I'm the one who showed the book." I was literally lmao and that look on that psycho's face was priceless. Jacqueline kinda screwed my head up when she went against her family and defended Danielle. WTF was she thinking. You barely know this broad and if she was so innocent she wouldn't have brought the book that night nor would she continue to put you in the middle of her drama. Be smarter Jackie. They may have been wrong, which in some ways I do agree but come on they are there when you need them and to betray them like she did in front that cow was lil disheartening. And now we all know what would make a grown woman throw a table on someone. I felt Theresa on that one. Don't know if I would have thrown a table but I would have definitely smacked the sh*t out of her for not only starting sh*t at my party but also disrespecting me. It was so funny how her husband was trying to restrain her. Theresa is one strong lil Italian firecracker. Too funny!! I was lmao at when Theresa finally calmed down, she kissed her husband like nothing happened and then went sat down, said her piece and said now lets eat. Hilarious!!

I can't wait to see the editor's cut on Thursday of the dinner party and also the reunion special next Tuesday. And congrats to Jacqueline who just had her baby boy and Theresa who is expecting in September.

So every now and then I find myself having 2 songs on my MP3 player; one the original and the other the remake. Peter Schilling is the guy that did the original song Major Tom. The Shiny Toy Guns did the remake and you hear it a lot on the Lincoln car commercial.

Well here is one of them. I also have a group by the name of BERLIN on my MP3 player who's song was a remake. Tell me which one you like.

Kendra Wilkinson Expecting

Kendra Wilkinson has just confirmed she is twelve weeks pregnant. Congrats to her and her soon to be hubby Hank Baskett. I love Kendra, she is so free spirited and down to earth. Have you seen her new reality show? Hilarious!!

New Jersey Housewives

Last night's show of the NJ Housewives was cute. The girls took a lil getaway to Atlantic City for some R&R. Theresa is so comical with all her accessories. She brought so many outfits for a weekend trip that it looked like she was moving there. Not to mention, it took her forever just to get ready to go down to the pool. Hilarious. Theresa also got her boob job done this episode. She looks good with her new boobies.

I loved the scenes of Dina and her daughter Lexi. They remind me of me and my mommy. They are so close and I definitely understand why she is torn about her job and wants to be home more for her daughter. She's a good mother so I know she will make the right decision.

That damn Danielle is killing me. Its okay to have beef with Dina, but she needs to leave Jacqueline out of it. That's her family and if their friendship ends, which it probably will, they will be the ones she will turn to, so why cause turmoil for her. Danielle needs to get a life and find some friends that actually want to be around her and stop all the drama. She is such a drama queen.

Jacqueline decides to take her daughter to get professional pics done so she can start her portfolio. I felt bad for her because her daughter just runs all over her. The way she talks to her is so disrespectful and Jacqueline is too sweet of a girl for that type of treatment. Jacqueline needs to stop feeling guilty about not being able to stay home with her daughter when she was younger like she does now with CJ. That was a different time and different circumstances. She did what she needed to take care of her daughter and Jackie should be proud of herself; and her daughter needs to get over it and learn some damn respect.

I can't wait to next week on the season finale. The sh*t hits the fan. I can't believe the season is over already. Seems like it just started yesterday.

Zack Attack on Jimmy Fallon

OMG!! So on my way home I'm listening to B97 and I hear that Jimmy Fallon did an interview last night with guess who, Zack Morris. Not Mark Paul Gosselaar, but Zack Morris. Immediately I was taken back to my teenage years when I was all into Saved By The Bell. I remember watching this show every Saturday morning and any other time it aired. Hell I still watch reruns of this show now. I was so in LOVE with Zack that I actually wanted to be Kelly Kapowski just to date him. Lol! I mean how cool was Zack, and not to mention, gorgeous. So as soon as I got inside, straight to youtube I went. That was the best 10 minutes of TV Ive seen in a long time. It was so hilarious!!! I could not stop laughing especially when he did all his Zackisms like looking and talking directly into the camera, the infamous timeout, and when he pulled out the big azz old school cell phone. I was literally LMAO!

He even talked about his relationship with Kelly Kapowski, stating that they are divorced and referenced to the reason behind the split was Jeff and that she moved to another zip code (90210). Too funny!!! He even mentioned Stacey Carosi; I wonder if they got back together. He also talked to Jessie during the interview and did the Friends Forever song with the Roots. That was my jam back then. I was just waiting for Kelly, Jessie, Lisa, Slater, and Screech to jump on stage with their friendship bracelets and metallic outfits.

He mentioned that he was down for doing a reunion (high school reunion that is) and getting the whole crew back together. I sure hope so. Boy that was the good ole days, when TV was TV, before all this Hannah Montana, That So Raven, and Cheetah Girls type shows. Definitely a stroll down memory lane. Loved it!!!!

ED Hardy pending gig at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami

This morning I received a call from Lacie at Ed Hardy and we talked about me working strictly with them at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Miami. As you know this year sponsor makeup company is Makeup Forever so they have it on lock. But, the designers can bring in their own personal glam squad to work on them as they walk the runway and do photos and interviews.

So, it's really looking like I will be working with them at fashion week and at the trade show. A few more things just need to be confirmed and then it's a done deal. Lacie was such a sweetheart, already LUV HER.

I am so excited about a new partnership with MS Laa Laa at DOLCE VANITY BLOG. Today she posted an intro about me on her page. My new Publicist Michelle Bella thought it would be a great thing to really take this social networking to a new level and have blogs within blogs network amongst each other. So Michelle reached out to Laa Laa and she loved the idea...smart business girl! Since Laa Laa is an upcoming makeup artist this will be a perfect marriage for the both of us. I can so give her tips and business advice. Because she's in the UK it will be hard to hook her up with assignments but you never know, right.

So twice a month on Friday's I will be writing beauty articles on her blog bringing back my popular theme "MAKEUP & MARTINIS" with Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis. I went it got it copyrighted and trademark, told you I was taking it to the next level. Vancouver, BC, Canada is my next stop with Wake Up Vancouver! My buddy Ashton is putting something together and we hope to have at least something set up this summer.

Today's Bride Kim Johnson was such a sweetheart, and she cried so many times. Very emotional. One of my BFF Wedding photographer Bernie Saul was there. I LOVE BERNIE...she rocks! Kim hired me for a half day. She got married at the CHAMPAGNE PALACE in Elmwood. She did an outdoor wedding.

The Hangover

Just finished watching The Hangover. It was surprisingly funny. If this type of stuff happens at bachelor parties, I'm not too sure if I want my future hubby to partake. Lol, jk. Funny movie just a lil drawn out.

WEDDINGS: BRIDE Thuy Ngyuen

Thuy wedding is finally here. I am so excited cuz it feels like forever that Thuy Ngyuen booked me. I LOVE HER...she is such an awesome girl. Thuy is getting 2 looks for her wedding. The first makeup look will be a soft pink and the second look I will bump up still using pink but more evening, more pop.

I am meeting Thuy at 6am for makeup and Erin Carter the hair stylist she couldn't make it. So Thuy was able to find someone else like 30 mins before the cars arrived.

F.Y.I. I didn't do Thuy girls makeup. I only did Thuy and her mom who is not in the picture. I don't take credit for others work. I would give a shout out to the hair people in the makeup artist but I am not sure who it is.

The Taking of Pelham 123

Last night my mom and I went to see the advanced screening of The Taking of Pelham 123 starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta. It was a remake of the 1974 version in which armed men hijack a New York City subway train. Denzel plays the subway dispatcher who gets caught up in Travolta's, the leader of the hijackers, twisted game to become rich. Travolta's role in this movie reminded me of Face Off with Nicholas Cage. There was also a great supporting cast such as Luis Guzman (Traffic and Boogie Nights) and James Gandolfini (The Sopranos). A very good and suspenseful movie with lots of twists. I'm just sorry and saddened that Travolta can't partake in the press for this movie due to the morning of his son Jett. He did an awesome job. Loved this movie. Go check it out next Friday at a theater near you.

Back To The Dentist

Hey guys, I am back at the dentist office. Today begins my first treatment. I have a total of 4 treatments that I need to get done. My goal is to do them all in June because starting July my schedule is crazy. The only problem is I have some dates out of town now so I have to schedule while or when I am home.

Can't wait for this to be over already. Hope I am not in much pain after cuz I am a big baby.

MAKEUP ARTISTS & HAIR STYLIST CASTING CALL

I am looking for (2) Makeup Artists and (1) Hair Stylist starting the first week in July 09’. This is not a full time position but on an as needed basis. Your location does not matter because all of the assignments are in different cities.
Because my schedule has gotten crazy and very demanding I am not able to take on all assignments that I am being requested for. So, I am now looking for additional artists and a hair stylist to assist me on set or by themselves. Each day each assignment will be different.

I am looking for:
Experienced Makeup Artists & Hair Stylist with a Full Makeup & Hair kit.
Someone who is willing to work hard, willing to work long hours, work at a very fast paced and still produce excellent work, organize, always on time, reliable, trustworthy, a team player, with transportation and have a valid driver’s license.
No Groupies
Because you will be working around celebrities and/or entertainers any information you come across will be and is confidential. Understand anything stolen the client will press charges. You are not able to ask for pictures, autographs or gifts.

Have to pass on the BEYONCE TOUR this year

Just had to pass on the Beyonce Tour this year. The dates they gave me I am all booked up for. I was looking forward to going back on the road with with SASHA FIERCE. That's ok, I have my own SASHA FIERCE (MISS SASSY). Hopefully, when the tour comes to NOLA I will get to see some of my peeps who I tour with. I don't think I have ever partied with them here in New Orleans.

Dentist Appointment

I finally gave in but I didn't have a choice. I have been in pain for sometime now so I had to finally take myself off the books today. Yes, I am home in New Orleans. I am sitting waiting for the doctors (Merja A. Schwarz & Jorge F. Schwarz) to come back with the x-rays. I am getting as much as I can get done in one appointment. My schedule is so tight that I have to move fast you know. I have so much that needs to be done I believe like 4 or 5 more visit. Will keep you posted.

Weekend Sadness

This weekend ended on a sad note. Its not what you think however. I'm sad because the Cavs have gone fishing. I so hoped that Lebron would get a chance at wining a championship and putting Kobe to shame. Such a disappointment!! I guess they should have saved those damn puppet commercials. There is always next year, right.
Also my girl LC has said goodbye to The Hills. The season finale was bitter sweet and I don't know how I'm going to manage next season without LC. I absolutely adored her! I hope she changes her mind, but I definitely understand why she has decided to leave. 5 years of cameras all in your business is bit too much.

Heidi and Spencer finally made it official. Good for them, I guess. I'm not feeling her hubby but I loved Heidi's wedding gown. I loved all the bling bling she added, truly divalicious.

And the Bitch is back. Kristin Cavalari is returning to reality TV and replacing LC. I know there will be lots of drama and I cant wait. I wonder if her and Justin Bobby are going to hook up? I already feel there will be tension between her and Audrina. Also Stephanie has already confirmed her and Kristin don't get along either. Drama, Drama!

New Moon

I finally finished the book New Moon from the Twilight Saga Series. I can't wait to see the movie when it hits the theater, especially after seeing the trailer on the MTV Movie Awards last night. Trailers look good and the book was pretty damn good as well. Who would have thought humans and vampires and now werewolves could have great love stories. Now I'm on to the next installment, Eclipse. Can't wait to see what happens with this love triangle.

MTV Movie Awards

WTF was going on last night at the MTV Movie Awards! That was some wild sh**! From the d#ck in the box song that Forest Whitaker sung along with LeAnn Rhimes and Bruno giving Eminem some face full of azz, I was utterly confused. I don't know if the fight with Bruno and Eminem people and then Eminem leaving pissed was staged or not but Tyrese cracking up in the background was priceless. What was up with dude humping the popcorn? That was just down right weird. Hottie Robert Pattison racked up along with his Twilight costars so I was happy about that. All I can say is MTV was absolutely tripping last night.
