Shoe Envy:Twilight Saga Style

With The Twilight Saga: Eclipse starting on tomorrow, I felt it was most appropriate to dedicate this week's Shoe Envy to two Twilight cast mates, Dakota Fanning and Christian Serratos. It's kind of funny that both ladies chose these nude studded Louboutins to wear to the premiere last week in LA, but I guess when a pair of shoes as HAWT as these come by, who cares who else is wearing them. These Louboutins are sexy with a splash of edge. I just love the studs, which are definitely hot this season. Love, love, love them!!!

Expensive Toys

I'm not into the whole model car collection and all the little vices men seem to enjoy, but if I had to indulge, this Bugatti Veyron Diamond Ltd. Edition model car would be my pick. That is, if I was a millionaire ;)! Listed as the most expensive model car, this luxurious item is made of 24-carat gold, platinum, and diamonds. Designed by Stuart Hughes of Liverpool and Swiss luxury car maker Robert Gulpen, this little beauty has working doors, bonnet with a 16-cylinder "W" engine, and a rotating steering wheel. The price tag, well, that's just a "mere" 2 million, which can actually purchase 2 of the real cars. Only three have been made, so whoever owns one of these, Ill just say, "I envy you".

The Penthouse Suite: Iphone 3GS Supreme Rose

Since its Iphone 4g pandemonium right now, I thought it would be fitting to talk about the granddaddy, the penthouse suite of all Iphones, the Iphone 3GS Supreme Rose. While the average person is on the waiting list for the 4g which was released this month, the real ballers are sporting the 3GS Supreme Rose around. With approximately 200 diamonds and 271 grams of 22-carat solid gold, u too can have this for just $1.93 million, ;). The front bezel is beautifully handmade from platinum with 130, .75 flawless diamonds totaling 97.5 carats. Also, in the diamond bezel are 4 pink baguette diamonds totaling 2.5 carats. The rear section is formed with circa 112 grams of 18-carat rose gold along with 53 diamonds encrusted in the rose gold apple logo. British designer Stuart Hughes definitely didn't believe in too many diamonds, because even the navigation button is a single, 7.1 carat diamond in rose gold. This 32 GB design took 10 months to produce, but it encompasses everything you could ever dream of; Chic, sleek, lots of bling, and is even factory unlocked for worldwide use! Definitely Luxury at its finest!!!!

Grown Ups Screening

Last night my mom and I decided to have a mother-daughter night out and go see the new Adam Sandler flick, Grown Ups. When I tell you this movie was hysterical, we literally couldn't stop laughing. I didn't expect it to be soooo funny because usually too many great comedians in one movie kinda deflates the funny. Well, this all-star comedic cast put that stigma to rest. Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James (whom I just love), David Spade, and Rob Schneider kept me in stitches. Great family movie with lots and lots of laughs. Go check it out, starts today!!!

New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu interview on Tavis Smiley Report:

Three 10 hour days outside working with director Jonathan Demne and Tavis Smiley was a challenge. The hours was not bad since I am use to 12 hours or more when on the L'OREAL PARIS makeup tour. It was the heat, and I still don't understand how Tavis did it everyday wearing black linen. But I guess that's why I was hired to be the makeup artist. I think I still have a tan from the extreme heat...lol.  It was an pleasure working with Tavis Smiley & Jonathan Demne. I always enjoy working with now Mayor of New Orleans Mitch Landrieu. Mayor Landrieu has a great personality that many may not get to see but he cracks me up every time I work with him.

Tavis Smiley was in town to film the second half of his story; New Orleans Been in the Storm Too Long. It will premiere on Wednesday July 21, 2010 at 8pm/7pm c

Tiffany & Co Presents The New Orleans Saints Superbowl Ring

Last Wednesday @misssassy380 and I were one of a few in New Orleans to see The Official New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Ring right after it was received. @misssassy380 selected for us to have girl bonding night @RooseveltNO .We went to dinner to catch up, talk about Essence Music Festival & Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami. After dinner we moved over to the bar enjoying our 5th Bellini's.

A few familiar faces started coming into the bar all carrying my favorite, a sky blue Tiffany & Co bag. Of course we both recognized that bag. In March the kids and I purchased Miss Sassy birthday gifts from there. So when the guys and their wives came over by us, Miss Sassy asked if that was the rings, of course we could only ask but to try the ring on.

My buddy Garrett Hartley was so excited that night. He kept hugging me and he was so cute saying he now has juice to request me to be his makeup artist for now on. I don't think I ever seeing him with that much bling. I met Garrett when he wasn't playing so I really didn't know much about what position he played. But I am proud of him. Ladies...he's a sweet young baby.

The ring is glamxurious...those diamonds are heavy. My little finger was hurting the next day...lol.

How amazing to share that moment with baby girl...

In the proud tradition on honoring achievement, Tiffany & Co., creator of the Vince Lombardi Trophy and Super Bowl XLIV championship rings, introduces the New Orleans Saints collection, featuring the Super Bowl XLIV champions' commemorative logo. Shoe Envy of the Week

I just love these gold, glittery Louboutin's pictured above. What a perfect way to accessorize on a fab night out on the town. You may have seen these beauties on Mrs. Kardashian-Odom at Game 7 when the Lakers defeated the Celtics. Definitely worth the price tag :)!!!

Superbowl Bling

Last night was definitely a night I will remember and cherish forever. Me and B went to the Roosevelt Hotel in downtown New Orleans for drinks and some good ole girl talk when we were pleasantly surprised with some bling, Superbowl bling that is! The Superbowl champs, the New Orleans Saints, were having their ring ceremony on this night and I guess we were just in the right place at the right time. The 14-karat, yellow gold, diamond encrusted Fleur de lis designed Tiffany and Co. ring was a true beauty. To see this gem in person was a moment so precious. However, the icing on the cake was when I slipped this beauty on my finger, took a deep breath, and took this moment in. OMG, I could have died. I'm so proud of these boys and my city and all we have accomplished this past year. I'm so ready for Two Dat, I can't wait until August. Drinks and appetizers at Roosevelt $100.00, sliding Superbowl ring on...priceless!!!!!!

*L'OREAL PARIS Colour Riche Lipstick in Peach Fuzz

*NARS Cosmetics Lip gloss in Giza

Darla selected New Orleans wedding photographer Beebe and Corine Tran with Studio Tran and her FAB hair was done by Heather.
