Fashion Insider: Celerity Makeup Artist Talks Career & Beauty Tips

Recently, The Fashion Insider Magazine caught up with Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy for a revealing interview. Brandy Gomez-Duplessis, a L’Oréal Paris Pro Makeup Artist, is making a huge buzz on the streets of New Orleans, New York, and Miami. Brandy who describes her style as “GLAMXURIOUS,” has been featured in Essence, Vibe, People, Modern Bride, and Teen Vogue magazines just to name a few. Brandy will also be working for 2010 Mercedes Benz Fashion week in New York.

B.E.T. SOS for Haiti Benefit Concert-Miami

Superbowl weekend I was once again back in Florida working. On this trip my daughter came out with me. As some as you all know my daughter is very opposite from me, a late bloomer, very quiet, very serious, not big on taking lots of pictures every 5 mins (like me), not big on makeup in can usually care less about the celebrity clients I worked with. That...she gets from my mother :)))

Off my baby girl and I go to---Miami. She only wanted to take a few shots so that is why I don't have a lot of pics from the trip. Plus, I just wanted to focus on her, a girls trip. So while I worked she met lots of the people I worked on. Some of the celebs took her with them to soundcheck she actually enjoyed that.



Everybody loved her in she made many friends, their was only one person I wasn't a big of :))) in that person knew it my daughter later shared with me. We had a great trip, we did some shopping, pampered ourselves only a little and ate a LOT!

Celebrity Makeup Artist Rocks Out M2M Nails

Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis was not only seen putting her stamp on Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim doing makeup for the Ed Hardy and True Religion Designers, but also wearing “Pink”, one of the summer’s hottest nail colors. A Gomez-Duplessis favorite is M2M, a natural nail care collection by Celebrity Manicurist Myrdith Leon-McCormack, who was in Miami providing her celebrity manicure services at the exclusive Penthouse Beauty Retreat hosted by Beachhouse PR at The Shore Club. Gomez-Duplessis met and mingled with Leon-McCormack at The Beauty Retreat offering complimentary cocktails and manicures. Gomez-Duplessis, who’s manicure featured M2M “Hot Girls” bright pink polish, is a color she can’t wait to introduce to some of her clientele: Kim Kardashian, Jordin Sparks, and NeNe Leaks(from the Real Housewives of Atlanta).
