Takers
So last night was the advanced screening 0f Takers starring T.I., Idris Elba, Chris Brown, Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, and Micheal Ealy. Can I just say I loved, loved, loved this movie. Action packed, good story line, and some of the best eye candy a movie could offer. These men were FA-INNNEEEEEEE!!!!!! Everyone's swagger was on point. Idris Elba even spoke in his natural British accent, which I must admit was sexy as hell. Its a great date movie. Men can enjoy the action and the women can enjoy the sweet treats and the action. Go see it, starts this Friday.

Pucker Up Brides with Softlips Lip Polish
Gone are the days of using a toothbrush to exfoliate your lips. There’s nothing worst than having dry, flaky, and peeling lips on your wedding day. When wearing a nude or a sexy red lip color, your lips have to be up to par or it will show through.

Michael Kors Glimmer Creme and Leg Shine
After I finish applying makeup on my gorgeous bride there is always one last item that I like to place on her: body shimmer. One of my favorite designers, Michael Kors , thought of a fabulous item for just that. Michael Kors Glimmer Crème adds that little glimmer and glam all over the body. A perfect item for me to have in my makeup kit as fall approaches. I can give my brides that instant gorgeous, golden glow all over the shoulders, arms, and décolleté.
What I enjoy the most is that the glimmer crème is not heavy or greasy, but gives just enough moisture as it deposits the right amount of glow needed on the skin. What a treat to leave behind, a sensual and musk fragrance, allowing anyone near to enjoy the luxurious Michael Kors signature scent.
But Michael Kors didn’t stop there, his light scented Leg Shine is a shimmer stick that has a hint of bronze tint. A great item for my modern and destination brides who wear short wedding dresses on the beach. As you make your way down the sandy aisle, your bare legs will have a healthy glow. No mess and no fuss on your wedding day because it’s packaged in a convenient twist up canister that is easy to use.
Make this your little secret on your wedding day and every time you wear it your hubby will remember the first time he smelled it on you.

Saturday Night: M and M
This past Saturday after returning from vacation with the BF, we decided to catch up with the crew and have drinks. We started out at The My Bar on Bourbon in the mist of the Red dress marathon. It was like a red sea out there with tons n tons of red dresses worn by both men and women. It was absolutely hysterical watching all these buff men strutting their stuff in red dresses, but it was for a good cause so kudos to the fellas. After My Bar and plenty of drinks we headed to Morton's Steak House on Canal. I had my fav, Shrimp Alexander with a baked potato. These lightly breaded jumbo shrimp in a white wine sauce are to die for. I'm salivating just thinking about them..lol. After dinner I was down for the count but everyone else enjoyed Saturday night at Masquerade in Harrah's. Definitely fun times!!

Rocker Bey: House of Dereon Fall 2010
Beyonce is rocking a new edgier look for this upcoming Fall's House Dereon ad campaign. I'm really loving these looks on her. Lots of tats, black and metal, yet still sultry and sexy. Just Hawt if I say so myself. Its always good to see her switch it up.
She also did an interview with UK's Daily Mail on the importance of girlfriends, dropping "Sasha Fierce", defining beauty, and juggling her career and family life. Here's an excerpt from the interview where she speaks on beauty, my fav part.
"Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful women in the world, she is not, she says, particularly vain. Beauty, she insists, is about more than just external looks. ‘I think a beautiful woman is someone who is confident but not competitive with other women – someone who is warm to everyone. Because my mother told me ever since I can remember that beauty is from within, that looks will fade, I have always been aware that you have to have something deeper to be really beautiful,’ she says."

Drug Store Diva: Low Cost-High Impact
Brides are spending so much on their weddings that the last thing a bride wants to worry about is cutting back on their wedding day makeup. Your wedding day is a day for you to shine and when you walk down the aisle you want to know that your makeup will be just as flawless as the carats on your finger. Bridal makeup is just as important as the wedding dress, the wedding photos and the wedding cake. So how do you look as fabulous as a Hollywood celebrity on your wedding day, but on a budget? My favorite budget makeup is L’OREAL PARIS cosmetics.
Here is where a glam girl begins:
To create the glamxurious look I used the following items:
• L’OREAL PARIS Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base
• L’OREAL PARIS Studio Secrets Professional Color Smokes Shadow in Blackened Smokes
• L’OREAL PARIS HIP High Intensity Pigments Color Truth Cream Eyeliner, Black
• L’OREAL PARIS True Match Blush in Baby Blossom
• L’OREAL Voluminous Mascara in Carbon Black
• L’OREAL Colour Riche Lipcolor in Sea Fleur
So when thinking about being on a budget, don’t be alarmed! Selecting makeup from a drugstore can be advantageous for your look and your purse and still make you glamxurious on your wedding day.
