Thursday night some of us L'OREAL Consultants were in need of relaxing our feet's. But before heading back to the hotel Cassie wanted cotton candy for dinner...I know right? The rest of us just wanted to get back so we could soak our feet. We all ran up to the room dropped our bags on the floor grabbed the wine, coolers and snacks. We headed downstairs to the pool and just relaxed and laughed about our day. The pics of my swollen feet is the second day with it looking like elephant woman:)

TOUR:L'OREAL TOUR LAST NIGHT IN MILWAKUEE

Our last night in Milwaukee, was fun. I tell you what. The people in Milwaukee can drink. I thought New Orleans was a drinking city with the drive thru windows that opens at 10am but after being their I was so wrong.

Some of the L'OREAL travelers, the BA's, and the TECH peeps got together and went out to get drinks. I couldn't do much becuase of my feet (pics below). So, I was moving a little slow and had to keep my feet up on the stool. But you know I don't turn down complimentary cocktails :)))

HAPPY 100TH ANNIVERSARY L'OREAL

I had a pleasure to be a part of L'OREAL 100TH Anniversary this year. To be a affiliated with such a great celebration with one of the top beauty companies in the world. L'Oreal has some of the most talented and beautiful spokesmodels; R& B Singer BEYONCE, Actress KERRY WASHINGTON, Andie MacDowell, Elizabeth Banks, Milla Jovoich, Supermodel Linda Evangelista, and many more is still mind blowing.

Let me say this, dreams really do come true...remember just 4 years ago I was called a REFUGEE. All of this seems so surreal when I get to my hotel I cry after doing such big events or attending big events...ask MIS SASSY. At one time I didn't think my career would be where it is today. I still have some catching up to do but it's not foggy anymore. L'Oreal cosmetics is so big on helping women and doing women events. I look forward to doing more with them and can't wait to work with Collier Strong, L'Oreal Consulting Makeup Artist.

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend

Every Monday night I sit down and watch all my reality shows, because as you know I'm a reality show junky. As I'm watching the T.O. Show, yes I actually like this show, I fell in love with Terrell's gal pal and publicist Kita's birthday gift. It was the most adorable purse necklace filled with diamonds. It was absolutely gorgeous and one of the most creative gifts I've seen. Being the PI that I am, I decided to find the designer of this beauty and I did. The designer is Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills, the new ice man of blinged out jewelry. He has done jewelry for every hot celebrity out there from TO, Kim Kardashian, Lebron James, Reggie Bush, Fergie, Micheal Jackson, Jay-Z, and etc. I mean the list goes on and on. He has really unique pieces customized especially to your liking, so you never have to worry about anyone else copying your swagger. There is a new trend out this fall that I was skeptical of at first, but I must say has grown on me quite a bit. The hot trend this Fall is the Strong Shoulder Trend. Geometric, sharp, bold shapes are in and a must have this Fall season. From shirts, dresses, and blazers, this trend is just simply chic. It is just the right amount of flare to spice up your outfit and make a beautiful silhouette.

Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami

The premiere of Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami was hilarious! These two have definetely set themselves apart from Kimmie and showing the world they exist too. The fight between Khloe and Kim was a little dramatic, but I feel neccessary. I was definetly team Khloe in this one. Sometimes, I think Kim forgets about how hard they work just because she is more in the public eye. Anyhow, wtf was the blame it on the alcohol moment about? How funny was that kissing scene between Terrence and Khloe? I will be tuned in next week for sure.

Friday Night Football

Last night was the kickoff of the Saints' season, well preseason. Me and the BF went and had a blast. Im so tomboyish, that its funny. Im dressed all danity and girlie, but as soon as the game starts Im cussing and high-fiving like one of the boys. We won so that was a good look. Hopefully we can do well this season.

Afterward, we went to the Roosevelt Hotel and the W for some drinks, to celebrate his birthday. Let's just say I partied harder than he did, because before we made it home, I was puking my guts out in the McDonald's drive through. Soo embarrassed! Anyhow, fun times!! I love rocking the Louis V shades I got him, I think I look so much better in them.

With Fall right around the corner, its time to get the boots and booties out of the closet. If you are lacking these must have items for the fall, girls its time to go shopping. I absolutely love this new Jimmy Choo bootie. Its so rocker girl chic and would look great with almost anything. I think Saks will be seeing me real soon, because I'm soo in love.

More Kardashian News

These Kardashian girls just can't stay out of the media these days, from TV shows to appearances to breakups, these girls are every where. I was totally shocked to hear yesterday that Kourtney Kardashian is expecting her first child. Congrats to Miss Kourtney and I just know momma Kris is thrilled by the news! I wonder if the daddy is the guy from their new show. HMMM! I guess I'll have to wait and see. I'll definitely be tuned in next week!

Congrats J Hud

Congrats to Jennifer Hudson and her fiance David on the birth of their baby boy last night! I'm so happy for her especially after all she went through last year. This was truly a blessing from God.

Kim's New Do

I just saw the pics of Kim Kardashian's new do. I actually like the blonde hair on her, it looks good. I just don't know if I like it better than her dark hair. I think the dark hair made her look more exotic and enhanced her features. She has such a pretty face so either way she looks beautiful. What do you guys think?

Cozy Weekend

With summer school finally over and my busy schedule finally becoming less hectic, I took the time this weekend to spend quality time with my mom. The weather has been crazy this week, with plenty of showers, so we stayed in for the most part and caught up on some movies.

I finally saw Obsessed. For the most part the movie was good, but the fight scene at the end looked a lil uncomfortable for Bey. I love her to death, but acting might not be in the cards for her.

I also got a chance to see Doubt starring Meryl Streep, Amy Adams, and Phillip Seymour Hoffman. I absolutely loved this movie. It was one of the most riveting films Ive seen in a long time. The acting was pure perfection.

The last movie we watched was Confessions of a Shopaholic starring Isla Fisher. Cute movie and of course I loved the fashion.

We also managed to get some shopping in and take advantage of the sales tax break weekend. Found some really good deals. Hope you guys had a good weekend.

L'Oreal Tour Update

Its been a few days and the L'Oreal tour has been going really good. Weather has been good except for today. The rain got me today so my hair that was looking really good has now left me with putting it in a ponytail:(

Its so good to see everybody. I don't usually get to see the crew until we tour. We all stay in touch a lot and we play on face book or send emails and text to one another. But working side by side isn't often with everbody living in different city. The only two missing on this trip is Debra and veronica both makeup artist based out of Houston.

I do get to see Debra at the end of the month. I will be in Houston to do a makeup class for women of color and I think I am suppose to be doing Makeup & Martini the night before the class. I know Debra is really cussing me out right about now because she emailed me to send her pics. But its been so hard the last few days to do an computer work at the end of the night. We been getting back to the hotel everynight so late.

I been setting the alarm for 5:45am and getting my body out of bed at 6am. By 7am we are out the door heading to work.I have been able to eat a blueberry muffin or two but you know I love cranberry muffins. The hotel has great cranberry juice its some kind of mix whatever it is I like a lot. The rest of the day its been moving none stop, super busy. Yesterday, I don't how it happen but I didn't get to eat dinner. So at 7:30pm I stop finally and ate an apple:). I am already losing weight. I need to get to a store to buy another pair of black pants cuz the size 4 is not looking cute on me anymore. By the end of the month I might be a size "0". You know I am lovin that.

I still have a few more articles to write. I have to get to the interview that Beauty School sent over to me. The hold up is getting pictures to her as well. Then to finally get to my brides to write contracts and check dates. I know I have a few other people need answers about dates that need to book me for upcoming gigs. L'Oreal want me to do the September and October dates and I really wanted to do New York Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. I have so much stuff to do and figure out. I really have not had time to think about what I am teaching at the workshop.

If I do the mext two months of the tour then I will take some time off for the holidays and spend time in New Orleans with the family in friends. I still need to update website from last month. I am so overwhelmed.

You know what's crazy I only get to stop in think when I am at the airport on the plane. My body gets to rest, finally. You should see my to do list it just get longer in longer.
I am so limited that I can only do some stuff on my blackberry. I be working my poor black girl;)

Beware of the Scams

This past weekend I was surfing the net looking for rental property in Miami to throw my 30th birthday party. I stumbled across a site called vacationhomes.com. There was this great piece of property listed with just the right accommodations, everything I was looking for. I emailed the "owner" directly through the site and "he" responded. I asked if the property was available, the rates, taxes, deposit, everything you would ask when booking an event. I even asked for a contract. Low and behold, it was a damn scam. I was reading through this contract which was full of grammatical and spelling errors. It was so obvious it was a copy and paste job, and a bad one at that. From there I decided to do some PI work. I found the exact template sample "he" copied from the Internet, I found out the house was actually up for sale, the brokerage company and broker, "his" number was a payphone, and the real owner of the house. I called all these people and by 9:30 pm Saturday night I spoke directly to the owner. She explained to me that for the past 2 years the police have been trying to catch this asshole(s). The stories this woman told me brought me to tears. This man or group of individuals have been taking money from innocent people who want to vacation with their families and friends and leaving them with no place to stay and having to start all over. Do you know how heartbreaking that is? I am so thankful I read and researched this before acting hastily, because I too would have been another victim. I sure hope they catch the person or individuals. So please, please read carefully and research before you give up any money or information on yourself that could leave you stuck out or even worse.
