Superbowl Bling

Last night was definitely a night I will remember and cherish forever. Me and B went to the Roosevelt Hotel in downtown New Orleans for drinks and some good ole girl talk when we were pleasantly surprised with some bling, Superbowl bling that is! The Superbowl champs, the New Orleans Saints, were having their ring ceremony on this night and I guess we were just in the right place at the right time. The 14-karat, yellow gold, diamond encrusted Fleur de lis designed Tiffany and Co. ring was a true beauty. To see this gem in person was a moment so precious. However, the icing on the cake was when I slipped this beauty on my finger, took a deep breath, and took this moment in. OMG, I could have died. I'm so proud of these boys and my city and all we have accomplished this past year. I'm so ready for Two Dat, I can't wait until August. Drinks and appetizers at Roosevelt $100.00, sliding Superbowl ring on...priceless!!!!!!

Poolside and Margaritas Anyone!

This Spring/Summer I've decided to indulge in a new weekend pastime. Since I can't travel to the beaches in surrounding cities, Ive decided to bring the beachy atmosphere to me, well at least the pool and margaritas. Me and the BF have been hotel hopping now that the pools are officially opened for the summer and checking out the roof top pool and bar areas throughout downtown New Orleans and The French Quarters. It's such a cool and relaxing way to spend these beautiful Saturdays and Sundays and not to mention very inexpensive. You can't beat some fun in the sun with a great drink to cool you off. My drink of choice is any type of margarita but I'm opened to any other great beachy drinks. So far the Omni Royal and The Roosevelt are my top picks, but I got plenty more to check out before the summer ends!

Friday Night Football

Last night was the kickoff of the Saints' season, well preseason. Me and the BF went and had a blast. Im so tomboyish, that its funny. Im dressed all danity and girlie, but as soon as the game starts Im cussing and high-fiving like one of the boys. We won so that was a good look. Hopefully we can do well this season.

Afterward, we went to the Roosevelt Hotel and the W for some drinks, to celebrate his birthday. Let's just say I partied harder than he did, because before we made it home, I was puking my guts out in the McDonald's drive through. Soo embarrassed! Anyhow, fun times!! I love rocking the Louis V shades I got him, I think I look so much better in them.
