Saints Home Opener

This past Thursday was the Saint's season opener against Brett Farve and the Minnesota Vikings. It was a special moment for me and many other die hard fans since that spectacular Superbowl win back in February. NFL themed floats rolled through the French Quarters. Taylor Swift and The Dave Matthews band rocked Jackson square filled with approximately 90,000 people. The Superbowl banner was dropped from the Dome rafters accompanied by fire works and Harry Connick performing When the Saints Go Marching In. The Who Dat chant lead by Drew Brees electrified the Dome sending chills up one's spine. Colbie Caillat blew us away with her rendition of The Star Spangled Banner. Anticipation was definitely high for this rematch of the NFC South Championship game, but as the night went on, the performance was only minimal. It was a low scoring game, however, a win is a win. 14-9 and the Saints are still undefeated and the 2009 Superbowl Champs!

Last Wednesday @misssassy380 and I were one of a few in New Orleans to see The Official New Orleans Saints Super Bowl Ring right after it was received. @misssassy380 selected for us to have girl bonding night @RooseveltNO .We went to dinner to catch up, talk about Essence Music Festival & Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami. After dinner we moved over to the bar enjoying our 5th Bellini's.

A few familiar faces started coming into the bar all carrying my favorite, a sky blue Tiffany & Co bag. Of course we both recognized that bag. In March the kids and I purchased Miss Sassy birthday gifts from there. So when the guys and their wives came over by us, Miss Sassy asked if that was the rings, of course we could only ask but to try the ring on.

My buddy Garrett Hartley was so excited that night. He kept hugging me and he was so cute saying he now has juice to request me to be his makeup artist for now on. I don't think I ever seeing him with that much bling. I met Garrett when he wasn't playing so I really didn't know much about what position he played. But I am proud of him. Ladies...he's a sweet young baby.

The ring is glamxurious...those diamonds are heavy. My little finger was hurting the next day...lol.

Superbowl Bling

Last night was definitely a night I will remember and cherish forever. Me and B went to the Roosevelt Hotel in downtown New Orleans for drinks and some good ole girl talk when we were pleasantly surprised with some bling, Superbowl bling that is! The Superbowl champs, the New Orleans Saints, were having their ring ceremony on this night and I guess we were just in the right place at the right time. The 14-karat, yellow gold, diamond encrusted Fleur de lis designed Tiffany and Co. ring was a true beauty. To see this gem in person was a moment so precious. However, the icing on the cake was when I slipped this beauty on my finger, took a deep breath, and took this moment in. OMG, I could have died. I'm so proud of these boys and my city and all we have accomplished this past year. I'm so ready for Two Dat, I can't wait until August. Drinks and appetizers at Roosevelt $100.00, sliding Superbowl ring on...priceless!!!!!!

He's Baaaackkkkk!!!!!

Darren Sharper is officially back home and has resigned for another year with the New Orleans Saints. I'm so happy to have him back (me and every woman that is and the rest of the Who Dat Nation), not just for the eye candy but for all the hard work he has put in to get us that Superbowl ring. Now we just need to square away a few other contracts with some of our key players and we'll be on to TWO DAT!!!! Looking forward to seeing that Sharper Shake in 2010-2011.

Super Saints!!!

So by now everyone knows that the New Orleans Saints are the world champions this year :)!!!!!! I am so excited for them and for my city. This season was hands down the best season and I am so happy I got to witness the whole journey. I attended every home game except for the final 2 regular season games in which we lost (I think I jinxed them, j/k) and the ATL game due to illness. I literally thought I would have heart attacks watching these boys play, but it was all worth it in the end. I never thought losing my voice and chest pains would feel so good. This city has been on fire thanks to the black and gold. I hope we can do a repeat and please keep that cutie Darren Sharper aka Mr. Dimples around because he definitely made the experience so much more pleasurable. Sorry tmi...lol!

L'OREAL Men Hydra Energetic Eye Roller

After an amazing night and weekend of partying, I am sure The New Orleans Saints as well as so many men especially in New Orleans can use this new item from L'OREAL PARIS-Men Hydra Energetic Eye Roller.

Saints vs. Giants

Yesterday me and the BF attended the Saints vs. Giants game. Boy was this game a doozy. I was so torn because I am a die hard, home town Saints fan, but I love me some Eli Manning and the Giants. I also love the Colts and Peyton. I think I just have a major crush on the Manning boys, hahah!!! Anyway, I didn't know if we could pull this game off but not only did we pull it off, we issued some major whoop azz to these boys. Our defense was on point. Shout out to Darren Sharper who never lets you down and my boy Will Smith, along with the rest of the defense. The offense held us down too. Drew Breezy is the truth!!! Exciting season so far, but I'm happy my boys are taking it one game at a time and one play at a time, always eating their humble pie. We got a long season but for now I'm doing my Darren Sharper end zone dance, shake it baby shake it!

Friday Night Football

Last night was the kickoff of the Saints' season, well preseason. Me and the BF went and had a blast. Im so tomboyish, that its funny. Im dressed all danity and girlie, but as soon as the game starts Im cussing and high-fiving like one of the boys. We won so that was a good look. Hopefully we can do well this season.

Afterward, we went to the Roosevelt Hotel and the W for some drinks, to celebrate his birthday. Let's just say I partied harder than he did, because before we made it home, I was puking my guts out in the McDonald's drive through. Soo embarrassed! Anyhow, fun times!! I love rocking the Louis V shades I got him, I think I look so much better in them.

Eye Candy from a Saint

All I have to say is God Bless Reggie Bush! In next month's issue of GQ Magazine Kim gets to flaunt all that sexiness known as Saint Reggie. I'm not mad at you Kim! LOL! He is absolutely delicious. The pics by Alexi Lubomirski are so hot and I must say Kimmie looks great as well. They are doing the damn thing. Enjoy bc I know I did.
