SATURDAY BRIDE:Angela Gonzales

This was a special wedding for me because I met Angela Gonzales and her family in October 2005. This was like two months after Katrina. I would drive back in forth back then to work on my clients. I would be on the road sometimes for 8-10 hrs depending on where I was coming from. Anyway, I had a bond with Angela, Brandon the groom and Angela sister Aurora the first night we met. So when Angela called me and said she was getting married I was excited. Angela booked me like a year in advance. I think I was the first vendor she booked for her wedding cuz she knew how crazy my schedule can be.

I was also excited to work with Angela and Aurora because I love that they allowed me to do my type of makeup on them. Plus, they love glam makeup so I knew this was going to be a great bridal makeup application. She selected the Ritz Carlton for the makeup location and her wedding took place at Southen Oaks Plantation in New Orleans East.

WEDDINGS: BRIDE Thuy Ngyuen

Thuy wedding is finally here. I am so excited cuz it feels like forever that Thuy Ngyuen booked me. I LOVE HER...she is such an awesome girl. Thuy is getting 2 looks for her wedding. The first makeup look will be a soft pink and the second look I will bump up still using pink but more evening, more pop.

I am meeting Thuy at 6am for makeup and Erin Carter the hair stylist she couldn't make it. So Thuy was able to find someone else like 30 mins before the cars arrived.

F.Y.I. I didn't do Thuy girls makeup. I only did Thuy and her mom who is not in the picture. I don't take credit for others work. I would give a shout out to the hair people in the makeup artist but I am not sure who it is.
